The Public Law Department hosts the professor Maria del Frate under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching Programme
Through the course of this week, the Department of Public Law of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili will have the pleasure of the visit of Dr. Maria del Frate, professor of Labour and Social Security Law at the University of Eastern Piedmont under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching Programme. During her stay, she will hold several seminars for both students and teaching staff of the Faculty of Legal Sciences.
Specifically, she has already participated in the International Seminar "Climate-induced migration: recent trends and future directions" with a paper entitled "Climate-induced migration: a labour law perspective". The event debated such important aspects as the relationship between environmental protection, climate migration and the relationship they have with labour law. This link is relatively new in both environmental and labour legal doctrine, an aspect that Prof. del Frate is developing in her research. This seminar has been organised by the Department of Public Law of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, the Grup de Recerca Territory, Citizenship and Sustainability, the Center for the Study of the Environmental Law of Tarragona and the University of East Anglia.
Additionally, the following seminars have been organised:
1. European Collective Bargaining and the so-called Epsu case, 25 April 2023.
2. Working in platforms, approach from the Italian and European Union perspective, 26 April 2023
